Apple Card 3% Daily Cash is now available at Exxon and Mobil gas stations

Apple Card‘s 3% Daily Cash cash back deal was originally billed as a way to award owners of the credit card for buying even more Apple products, but the feature has been expanding since the card’s launch in 2019.

That continues this week as well. CNBC reports on Monday that Apple Card’s highest tier for its cash back rewards is now available while using the card, along with Apple Pay, at Exxon and Mobile gas stations across the United States. As is par for the course with this level of reward, though, users must use the Apple Card with Apple Pay, so in this case that means using the mobile payment option with the credit card inside the Exxon or Mobile gas station stores, or using the Exxon Mobil Rewards+ app at the pump.

Apple expanded 3% Daily Cash support to Nike in late 2019. The company says additional partners will be included over time, but hasn’t tossed out a roadmap or anything just yet. The 3% Daily Cash was only supposed to be for Apple Card/Apple Pay purchases made at Apple stores at the start, but the cash back deal has rapidly expanded to include Uber and Uber Eats, Walgreens and Duane Reade pharmacies, and includes purchases made at T-Mobile.

As mentioned above, Daily Cash has a few different tiers of cash back offerings. 1% is provided for all transactions using the Apple Card, and 2% is available for all transactions using Apple Pay with the Apple Card. 3% Daily Cash is only available at select retailers.

How often do you get to take advantage of 3% Daily Cash? The adoption of support by a major gas station is a big step in the right direction, so hopefully we get to see it available from more options in the near future.
